A White Cane Day is a project that allows us to solicit area citizens for funds that are used in their entirety, to provide financial assistance to one or more of our designated charities.  With the cooperation of area merchants, we post members of our club near the entrances of a specified business with an oversized "White Cane" and collection bucket.  Donations are completely voluntary, accepted from anyone in the area of the designated merchant.

We do not advertise this event, nor do we ask the merchant to assist in any way other than allowing us to use an area adjacent to their business.  Our members are identified by the "Lions Vest", or Shirt worn by the member posted at the location.  Our members are also in possession of a "Lions International Membership Card" and will be happy to show it upon request.
