Since it's inception in 1946 the Williams Bay Lions Club has always supported the community
of Williams Bay in one way or another. Throughout the year we have various fund-raisers and the
monies collected with these events is being used to improve our community.
Here is a partial list of how the Bay Lions have spent their money over the years (in no particular chronological order):
- Field House
- Built the Field House and donated to the village of Williams Bay
- Remodeled Field House (New siding, windows)
- Installed public bathrooms in Field House
- New Rescue Squad Vehicle
- Jaws of Life
- 2 Defibrilators (with training)
- Score boards for the High School Gym
- Tennis Courts
- Revamped athletic fields
- Added back stops and bleachers to the baseball fields
- Playground equipment at the Field House and Edgewater park
- Rebuilt and modified Pavilion at Edgewater park
- Contributed money and labor to the Lions District 27A-1 Handicapped Trail at Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy
On an annual basis we contribute to:
- High School Scholarships
- Prom Boat Ride
- Police Halloween Party (for the kids
)
- Many athletic programs (Baseball, Soccer etc)
- Fireworks (displayed at the Corn & Brat Festival)
